The Surfing Madonna is a glass mosaic, originally created by Mark Patterson, displayed in Encinitas, CA with the words "Save the Ocean", as part of the image. In honor of Mark's magnificient creation, we wanted to see what other artists would do with the theme of "Save the Ocean".

DELIVER ACCEPTED ARTWORK DATES

Saturday October 2, 2021 from 11am to 4pm
(I had to change the date to coordinate with the gallery schedule)

RECEPTION
October 9, 2021 from 4pm to 7pm
Awards Ceremony at 5:30pm

PICK UP ARTWORK

Saturday, November 6 from 11 - 4pm

Surfing Madonna Oceans Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Encinitas, California and was officially formed in 2013 by Robert Nichols and Mark Patterson (artist of the Surfing Madonna mosaic). The specific purpose for forming the nonprofit was to conserve, maintain and promote the public display of art and to promote environmental conservation efforts. Our intention is to partner with local arts groups and recognize the excellence of local artists and promote the arts through media. We strive to share our resources and create opportunities for local artists by giving awards, producing programming and creating opportunities for the public to share in the arts.

Parking available in the lot behind the Gallery or on Grand

*Bring your work through the front entrance.

PICK UP/STORAGE OF ART WORK
November 6 from 11-4

We have limited space for artwork storage. Artwork remaining at the gallery 30 days after the end of the show for which it was submitted may be donated to charity.
