'Anela Carpe - Angel Carpe

My first foray into mixed media collage. I love the freedom of design, the surprises that take you in directions you did not imagine, and the play with color, light and texture that using textiles gives you. The use of a wide variety of fabrics for highlighting and shading include, tulle, lame', satin, ribbon, silk, Angelina and other speciality fabrics. Yarns and silk created the movement of the plants. The Tapa Cloth and beading were used to bring the four items of this collection together.
